- 5 ripe pears sliced into 1/2 inch wedges
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon gluten free vanilla
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup if vegan
- 1 tablespoon psyllium husk (optional to thicken syrup)
Directions
- Add all ingredients to a medium size sauce pan.
- Bring to a boil and turn to simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve warm or cold.
