A simple and delicious dip. Guacamole is awesome with fresh vegetables, chips, crackers or as a condiment on a sandwich.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados peeled and pitted
- 1/4 cup onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 lemon or a whole lime juiced
- 1/2 tomato
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper or to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh basil or cilantro (optional)
Directions
- In a blender or food processor, combine all ingredients and whip until smooth or to desired texture.
- Store in a sealed container in the fridge, however it may brown slightly if kept more than a few hours.
